Cactus est un groupe rock américain, originaire de Long Island, à New York. Il a été un précurseur du hard rock qui s'est formé en 1969. Le groupe se sépare en 1972, et revient cette même année, mené par Duane Hitchings, avant de se séparer en 1979. Plus de trente ans après, cactus se reforme en 2006.
